Jashpur, [30.11.2025] – Under the guidance of SSP Jashpur, Shashi Mohan Singh, the Jashpur Police is producing a significant short film titled “Khauf – The Digital War” to raise public awareness about the growing menace of cyber fraud.The film is unique as SSP Shashi Mohan Singh himself plays the protagonist—a school teacher who becomes a victim of cyber fraud. This initiative aims to address the rising number of digital fraud cases, including online bank fraud and the dangerous digital arrest scam, where criminals impersonate government officials, police, RBI, CBI, or bank personnel to extort money.

A New Direction in Digital Crime AwarenessThe film, directed and strategized by SSP Singh, is being produced by Tek 3 Studios. It is designed to be an impactful educational tool, illustrating the real nature of digital crimes, the modus operandi of fraudsters, and simple, practical measures to avoid becoming a victim.”In the digital world, awareness is security.”The short film accurately depicts fraud scenarios common today through social media (WhatsApp, Instagram), online games, KYC updates, and fake mobile applications.
