📊 Crime Statistics & Resolution at a GlanceIn 2025, Jashpur Police registered 2,097 First Information Reports (FIRs). Combined with pending cases from 2024, the police handled a total of 2,386 cases, successfully resolving 2,162 of them. This marks an impressive 92.08% overall disposal rate.Homicide: Out of 58 murder cases, 53 were solved with 66 arrests. Notably, 32 cases were linked to family disputes.Convictions: In 62 serious cases (Murder, Rape, POCSO), the judiciary awarded Life Imprisonment in 35 cases and long-term sentences in 27 others.

🛡️ Major Specialized Operations Operation Aaghaat (Anti-Narcotics & Liquor):Seized 25,638 liters of illicit liquor valued at approx. ₹3.75 Crores.Under the NDPS Act, contraband including Ganja, Brown Sugar, and Cough Syrup worth ₹2.21 Crores was confiscated.Safema Action (Property Seizure): In a first for the district, police froze properties and vehicles worth ₹1.88 Crores belonging to notorious ganja smugglers Heeradhar Yadav and Rohit Yadav.Operation Shankhnaad (Cattle Smuggling): Arrested 239 smugglers in total, rescuing 1,493 cattle. Vehicles worth ₹3 Crores used in smuggling were seized.Operation Muskan: Successfully traced and reunited 146 missing children (21 boys and 125 girls) with their families.Operation Ankush: Arrested 68 absconding criminals, including some who had been evading the law for over 22 years.

💰 Busting Massive Financial ScamsJashpur Police successfully dismantled several high-profile interstate fraud syndicates:The ₹150 Crore “Bunty-Babli” Scam: Arrested Ratnakar and Anita Upadhyay from Delhi. They posed as ministry officials to dupe businessmen under the “National Rural Literacy Mission.”₹54 Crore Chit-Fund Fraud: Arrested Jitendra Bise, Director of Vinayak Homes, from Indore. He had defrauded over 11,000 investors across 8 districts.Magical Kalash & Fake Gold: Busted gangs selling “Magical Urns” and “Fake Gold Biscuits,” recovering lakhs from the fraudsters.

🛣️ Road Safety and Cyber AwarenessTraffic Enforcement: Registered 20,150 cases under the Motor Vehicle Act, a significant increase from the previous year (8,855) to ensure road discipline.ClickSafe Campaign: Collaborated with UNICEF to train hundreds of “Cyber Warriors” to educate rural communities and schools about online safety and fraud prevention.

🎭 Innovations in Public AwarenessDuring the Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day (Rajyotsav), Jashpur Police presented a specialized theatrical play on the New Criminal Laws.
