RAIGARH POLICE SMASHES ₹2.05 CRORE OPIUM RACKET | 2,877 KG CULTIVATION DESTROYED IN MAJOR CRACKDOWN

Raigarh, March 21, 2026:In a massive anti-narcotics strike, Raigarh Police under Operation Aaghat has busted a large-scale illegal opium cultivation network operating in Amaghat village (Tamnar), exposing a racket worth over ₹2.05 crore.Acting on precise intelligence, a multi-team operation involving Tamnar Police, ANTF, and district units stormed the cultivation site near Kharraghat Bhair Nala, catching the accused red-handed.

👤 KINGPIN HELD, NETWORK EXPOSEDThe arrested accused, Marshal Sanga (40), Jharkhand, confessed to running the illegal cultivation racket with associates Imanuel Bhengra and Ciprian Bhengra, both currently absconding.A follow-up search at his hideout led to recovery of processed opium worth ₹15.10 lakh, tightening the noose around the network.

⸻⚖️ NDPS ACT INVOKED — ZERO TOLERANCEA case has been registered under Sections 8(b) & 18 of the NDPS Act at Tamnar Police Station, with multiple teams conducting continuous raids to nab the remaining accused.
