Raipur/Jashpur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today visited the public awareness stall on the new criminal laws, set up by Jashpur Police, during a program organized in Village Narayanpur.➡️ Observing the stall, the Chief Minister praised the content, presentation, and awareness model, stating that this initiative would prove highly effective in communicating the new laws to the common public in a simple manner.

➡️ The stall became a focal point for citizens attending the event, where police officers provided information about the new laws and answered questions in an easy-to-understand language. The Chief Minister remarked, “Such exhibitions and awareness programs play a very important role in acquainting the public with new changes and also strengthen the trust between the police and the public.”

➡️ The police stall is based on the new criminal laws: the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (Indian Justice Code), the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (Indian Civil Defence Code), and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (Indian Evidence Act). These new laws aim to make the Indian justice system more transparent, technologically empowered, and justice-oriented.

➡️ The new legislation highlights the crucial role of modern technical evidence like fingerprints, DNA tests, and voice samples in the judicial process. The use of these scientific methods has made crime investigation more precise, faster, and impartial. The objective of Indian law is now not merely to “punish” but to “ensure justice.” This change marks a strong step toward a new mindset and modernity in India’s justice system.

➡️ SSP Shashi Mohan Singh stated that, “The public is enthusiastically participating in this awareness stall. The changes in the new laws are being explained in a simple and interesting way through posters, models, and digital presentations, which is increasing the public’s understanding and awareness of the law.”
